About LifeCare Connect

LifeCare Connect Nigeria Limited is the CAC-registered umbrella commercial entity through which every Group platform is marketed, contracted and delivered in Nigeria and across Africa. It sits under the Ancestra Group parent brand, alongside LifeCare Medical Group. The Group operates five platforms, three in active focus — Ancestra Health, QualiSentinel and JAPAC Accreditation — with OneHealth Sentinel and NCD Sentinel pursued through a government and public-sector motion. We are opening our founding operations base in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, with a launch targeted for January 2027.

Role overview

The Quality and Accreditations Manager owns the day-to-day operation of the Group’s ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and serves as the Group’s technical lead on JAPAC Accreditation client engagements — laboratory, testing and certification-body accreditation services delivered across Nigeria and Africa.

Key responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of the Group’s ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
  • Lead the Company-Wide Internal Audit Programme, prepare inputs for the Management Review, and own nonconformity and corrective action tracking across the Group.
  • Maintain the Master Document Register and document-control discipline across the Group’s full set of controlled documents.
  • Serve as the Group’s technical lead for JAPAC Accreditation client engagements, covering frameworks such as ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 15189 and ISO/IEC 17020.
  • Coordinate external assessments, surveillance audits and certification-body relationships on behalf of client engagements.
  • Act as an independent reviewer for pre-release verification and design-review gates, maintaining segregation from the work under review.
  • Champion quality culture and ISO 9001 competency training across every department.
  • Track the Group’s own progress toward its ISO 9001 certification window.

Requirements & qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific, quality or engineering discipline.
  • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification (IRCA or equivalent) required; familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 or ISO 15189 strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ quality management or accreditation experience, ideally in a laboratory, healthcare or certification-body environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Nigerian accreditation frameworks and international standards bodies.
  • Excellent documentation, audit and analytical skills.

What we offer

  • Ownership of a fully documented, 100-plus-document ISO 9001-aligned management system from day one.
  • A direct technical role in a genuinely differentiated accreditation-services business line.
  • Influence over quality culture across a growing, multi-platform group.
